George Sun

Senior Advisor

George Sun is a Senior Advisor at Arcis Capital Partners and its affiliates. He is based in Shanghai, China.

George has over 20 years of experience in consulting, investment and entrepreneur. He is a nationally recognized expert in the new energy vehicle sector and the author of The Blue Book of the China New Energy Vehicle for Logistics》, Fudan University Press, 09/2018.

George has operated in various industries with a proven track record of success. A key focus over the last 15 years has been with new energy vehicle, courier/logistics, supply chain management, acquisitions and operational improvement.

A major entrepreneurial achievement George achieved was the co-founder of one of China's leading logistics media group, TUC Media. TUC Media developed from a small business employing 5 people in 2013 to a profitable market leader in 2017. A final success was a negotiation of the sale to an industry investor in 2017.  

Currently George is a Partner at Qianming Consulting where he has been advising companies in automotive, new energy vehicle and eCommerce logistics sectors on strategic and operational projects.

George's professional experience includes Vice President of Baring Private Equity Asia, Director of PwC's Operations Consulting in China, and management consultant of Roland Berger and Accenture.

George has a Master of Science degree of Logistics and Supply Chain Management from Cranfield University (Ranked #1 in Supply Chain Management in Europe) and a B.Eng degree from Wuhan University of Technology.
